My name is Bea Sanchez, actually I was born Beatriz Slack. I know, Mexican name and a totally different last name but hey, I am the best of both worlds. I was born and raised in El Paso, TX. I am first generation American Citizen. Throughout this blog, I am sure you will get a kick out of my Tex-Mex grammar. Please do not judge. My mom was born and raised in Juarez, MX and when I was young, she tried really hard to learn English and became a US Citizen. My dad, was born I don’t know where, his story changes all the time and its way too hard to keep track. He also grew up in Juarez, MX but he was born a US Citizen because of his dad. Both my parents didn’t know a word of English until I started going to school. Yes, I have both parents and yes they are still married. I know that is no longer normal these days. A person with daddy issues usually comes from a broken home but my story is different. I have Daddy Issues but for other reasons and you will see why.
